You might be wondering, what is a wounded child part?

Have you ever felt safe and in control one moment, and then something triggers you and you no longer in your most adult self? When wounded child parts become triggered you may react in ways that you cannot control. Making the child part show itself.

DNMS works with your triggers in a way that they become processed and disappear. DNMS has three separate healing levels. Phase one helps to give immediate relief. Phase two provides foundational stability. Phase three meets the needs of wounded parts and frees them completely.

This is done through mobilizing a team of loving and comforting internal resources. These internal resources provide the emotional support, radical acceptance, and compassion that wounded childhood parts needed when they were younger but did not receive.

As these young, wounded parts heal, unwanted emotions, beliefs, behaviors, and urges will leave. DNMS can resolve and treat anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, complex trauma, attachment wounds, and more. (Cited from The DNMS Institute)

You don’t have to carry the weight of the past alone.

Let’s work together to bring lasting healing to the parts of you that need it most.

What is the difference between DNMS and IFS Therapy?

The Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy and Internal Family Systems are both ego state therapies. DNMS works through healing the wounded parts that were created by the wounding experience through a loving connecting with resources and meeting the needs of the wounded part so the wounded part does not have to exist anymore. IFS focuses on wounded existing parts by increasing self energy and unburdening the wounded parts in order for them to heal. (Cited from The DNMS Institute)
